Top model camper with 2.0 engine and Berlin layout
The ideal bus for longer road trips
This Belgian bus from 1978 was in very bad condition when we purchased it. Especially the bodywork was bad due to many "repairs" that only hid the rust instead of removing it. New panels had once been welded on, but unfortunately we had to redo them all. The roof, interior, tent canvas and headlining were also replaced, which essentially makes it a new bus.
No expense or effort was spared to get this bus back in perfect condition, with an eye for originality. The original Berlin layout was retained, but in terms of colour we ultimately chose the coveted Savannah beige instead of the Mexico beige paint.
The bus has a long-stroke revised gearbox and strong 2-litre engine, which makes it more pleasant to drive this bus on the motorway. The top speed is therefore somewhat higher, but consequently also the fuel consumption.
Moreover, there are numerous gadgets in this bus such as USB charging points, large water tank, gas auxiliary heating, modern radio. As a result, this bus can be used for rental almost all year round. The ideal camper for an adventurous outing.
